Visiting the Nursery
Our customers are very varied and range from individuals who simply want to add an interesting specimen to their plant collection, to clients requiring large quantities of several species. Please use the directions and map below to locate us. We look forward to seeing you at the nursery and hope we can be of assistance! Before travelling, please call us to make an appointment. The map below shows the location of County Park Nursery. Use the controls in the top left of the map window to zoom in and out and move around. If needs be, you can plan your route using Google. The nursery is situated on the north edge of Hornchurch in Essex, about 25 miles from the centre of London in an eastward direction. The nursery entrance is in Essex Gardens, off Wingletye Lane. The postcode is RM11 3BU. Directions by Car From the M25 exit at junction 29, and take the A127 westward towards London for about 2.5 miles. After passing the BP garage and The Palms Hotel (both on right) take the next turning left into Wingletye Lane. Soon you will see a petrol station, turn left here into Essex Gardens and park along this road. The Nursery entrance is between the petrol station and the small parade of shops. Directions by public transport The nursery is about 1.25 miles from Harold Wood Station (main line from Liverpool St.) Take a taxi from the station. Alternatively, we are about 1.25 miles from Upminster Bridge Station. (Underground District line), from where taxis are also available. If you go to Hornchurch Station, (the stop before Upminster Bridge), cross the road, and take the 193 bus which terminates almost at the Nursery entrance. The bus service is every 12 minutes Monday - Saturday and every 30 minutes on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
